We’re looking for a Full-Stack AI Engineer who can rapidly build and iterate on cutting-edge AI demos, prototypes, and production features. You’ll work across the stack, from Next.js frontends to Python backends, while developing LLM-powered applications and agentic systems that push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Responsibilities

Rapid Prototyping & Product Development

• Build quick, high-impact demos and POCs to explore new AI capabilities.
• Work closely with product teams to translate ideas into functional prototypes in days, not weeks.
• Develop intuitive, polished UI components and applications in Next.js and React for showcasing AI features.

LLM Applications & Agent Systems

• Design, implement, and deploy LLM-powered workflows and applications.
• Use frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or similar to orchestrate complex multi-step agents.
• Optimise prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and tool integration.
• Build and maintain backend services (FastAPI or equivalent) to power AI features.
• Integrate AI APIs and internal ML models into scalable, secure systems.
• Manage data flows and storage relevant to LLM use cases (e.g., vector databases, embeddings).

Collaboration & Technical Leadership

• Partner with designers, product managers, and other engineers to deliver features end-to-end.
• Share best practices on AI development and frontend–backend integration.
• Stay on top of trends in AI tooling, agentic architectures, and web app development.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proficiency in Python for backend API development and AI integration.
• Experience building applications with LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models).
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, etc.).
• Comfortable working end-to-end—from database to backend to frontend.

Nice to have:

• Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Milvus, etc.).
• Knowledge of async programming and event-driven systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerisation (Docker).
• Understanding of prompt optimisation, evaluation frameworks, and AI safety considerations.
• Prior startup experience or having shipped projects under tight timelines.
