Are you a hands‑on IT leader with the vision to set strategy and the drive to deliver it?

An established, fast‑paced UK business (backed by a global group) is looking for a Head of IT to take ownership of all IT operations across UK and Europe. Reporting into the VP of IT (US), you’ll lead a small but capable team, define the IT roadmap, drive service excellence, and deliver impactful change across infrastructure, security, applications and projects.

This is very much a practical leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being involved strategically and technically when required.

What You’ll Do:

• Define and deliver the UK/Europe IT strategy in partnership with global leadership
• Act as the key IT representative to the Senior Leadership Team at board level
• Lead, coach and develop the IT function (Support, Projects, Security, etc.)
• Oversee IT budgets, forecasting and resource planning
• Manage 3rd party suppliers and contract relationships
• Ensure high‑quality IT service delivery and service management processes
• Drive full lifecycle IT projects aligned to the global roadmap

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience as Head of IT / Senior IT Manager / IT Lead
• Strong technical breadth across infrastructure (on‑prem & Azure / M365) and Information Security
• Solid understanding of ERP systems and business process flows
• Experience managing 3rd party suppliers and contracts
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience within Manufacturing, E‑commerce or Distribution
• Exposure to Cyber Essentials or ISO27001
• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central ERP or EDI integrations
• Experience managing offshore IT teams
