Head of Technology | £180,000 + benefits | London or Edinburgh | Hybrid (3 days in office)

A leading UK asset manager is hiring a Head of Technology to drive a major transformation under new leadership. This is a rare opportunity to elevate technology from a support function to a true enabler of growth and innovation.

Reporting to the COO, you’ll lead a talented team across infrastructure, software development, enterprise security, architecture, and business analysis — shaping the technology strategy and building the governance, structure, and culture needed to deliver it.

You’ll join an organisation with a collaborative culture, a clear roadmap, and a flat structure that gives you genuine influence at the top table.

What you’ll do

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary technology function
• Deliver a modern, scalable, and secure technology environment
• Strengthen governance, delivery discipline, and measurement of outcomes
• Oversee key transformation priorities — including CRIMS optimisation, AWS/Azure adoption, and O365/SharePoint modernisation
• Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive Committee on innovation and risk

What we’re looking for

• Senior technology leadership experience within asset management or adjacent financial services
• Proven track record of leading change and improving delivery performance
• Broad understanding of infrastructure, application development, and enterprise security
• Familiarity with CRIMS or similar investment management systems
• Collaborative, business-focused leadership style
