The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) is open to all young people aged 14-24 – whatever background or ability – to help them build lifelong belief in themselves, supporting them to take on their own challenges, follow their passions, and discover talents they never knew they had. The Award scheme is run in schools, colleges, hospitals, prisons, and young offender institutions, as well as youth and sports clubs across the UK.

The Role:

This is a homebased position however there will be travel to attend regional team meetings occasionally as part of the role.

This role is part of the IT team and plays a key role in supporting cross-organisational digital initiatives. The role serves as an interface for the charity and contributes to the delivery of an IT and digital roadmap that identifies and addresses requirements aligned with strategic objectives. The ITBP will bring IT insights on the ‘world of the possible’ and reality of what can be done given time, resource, and priority constraints.

The IT department serves as a crucial enabler of the charity's broader strategic ambitions and vision, supporting functions from operations to fundraising and commercial activities. This role is predominantly consultative, designed to advance our overall objectives and strategic direction.

What we are looking for:

· IT Business Partnering certification or equivalent demonstrable experience.

· A highly effective communicator with the ability to tailor information to diverse audiences, share complex information and concepts in a clear way and motivate and engage colleagues.

· High degree of emotional intelligence with the ability to engage effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels across an organisation, facilitate constructive discussion, and debate and build consensus.

· Demonstrable experience of engaging/stakeholder managing at all levels of an organisation, on a regular basis.

· Experience in developing innovative solutions to address business challenges.

· Ability to align IT solutions with business requirements/goals.

**The geographical allowance is based on a member of staff having a home or office-based postcode within 30 miles (as the crow flies) from Charing Cross, WC2N 5HS. The allowance is 7% capped at £4,000 per annum.
