About the Role
Our client, an internationally renowned hospitality business based in Central London, is seeking an experienced and hands-on IT Manager to lead on-site technology operations.
This is a rare opportunity to join a high-end hospitality brand at the top of its game, delivering technical excellence in a dynamic, guest-focused environment.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and operational teams, the IT Manager will ensure smooth delivery of all hotel IT and telecoms systems, support strategic technology initiatives, and manage a small on-site team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily IT operations, ensuring seamless performance of infrastructure and systems. Resolve issues impacting internal staff, guest services, and technical operations. Maintain system integrity across key platforms: PMS, POS, WiFi, IPTV, AV, telephony. Provide on-site technical support for AV setups, events, and conferencing. Uphold strong cybersecurity and data protection standards; manage backup protocols. Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members with a hands-on leadership style. Collaborate with external vendors and internal departments on upgrades and installations. Support the rollout of technology process improvements and hotel-wide IT projects.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Solid background in IT support or leadership roles within luxury hotels or hospitality. Strong understanding of: Microsoft Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP). Networking fundamentals, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Working knowledge of systems such as Opera, Micros, IPTV, AV platforms. Natural problem-solver with a calm, service-oriented approach. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to engage with non-technical users. Flexible and reliable – capable of supporting rotating shifts including weekends/holidays.
