IT Manager
Full-time, Permanent £58,000 per annum
We have partnered with a Housing Association seeking an experienced and hands‑on IT Manager to lead their digital transformation and ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of systems and services. This is a key role offering the opportunity to shape the future of technology at the company. You’ll combine strategic vision with day‑to‑day operational support, managing IT infrastructure, leading key system migrations, and ensuring colleagues are able to work securely and effectively.
The Role
- Lead the development and delivery of an IT and digital strategy.
- Oversee system management, cybersecurity, and data protection compliance.
- Act as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day IT support across a 50‑person office and remote teams.
- Manage relationships with MSP.
- Lead the upcoming Housing Management System migration project, from selection through to implementation.
- Provide technical leadership on IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud platforms.
About You
We’re looking for a practical, people‑focused IT leader who combines technical expertise with a proactive, solution‑driven mindset.
- A degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Several years of hands‑on experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems administration.
- Proven leadership or team management experience.
- Experience managing projects, budgets, and third‑party suppliers.
- Experience of SDM Housing Software.
- Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and data protection compliance (GDPR).
- 25 days annual leave + 15 public holidays.
