About the role
The role offers opportunities to develop large-scale data processing solutions and to be involved in the future development of our MCP APIs for LLM Assistants.
The successful candidate will join our Product Services team, enhancing our product ecosystem by streamlining integration across internal and external systems—empowering implementation and support teams, reducing dev effort, and accelerating client onboarding.
Operationally, the team are using Scrum. Technically, the team tries to use the latest popular tools and processes to maintain relevant skills, right now that includes React on the front-end and Node with Postgres and a variety of AWS cloud services on the back-end.

Location:Remote (preferably within the UK).
What you will be doing
Roles and responsibilities include:
- Define and own cross-team software engineering projects to timely completion, considering company standards and with rare guidance.
- Develop knowledge of customers, competitors, and the market to design and demonstrate solutions with an opinion on our future direction.
- Identify and utilise opportunities to simplify and innovate across our products to sustain and evolve them, improving our renewals, upsells, cross-sells, and new sales.
- Organise collaboration across departments, vendors, customers, and suppliers.
- Mentor teams and members at all levels to become more autonomous and develop their careers.
- Provide pastoral care, performance feedback, and leave approvals for up to 5 direct reports.
- Complete interview training and help with interviews.
- Develop documentation and new knowledge as necessary.
- Contribute to and follow the team’s working agreement.
- Constructively give, seek, and appreciate feedback.
Who we are looking for
The candidate will demonstrate:
- Proven experience:You will have 8+ experience as a Software Engineer or a similar role.
- Strong foundational knowledge:You will have above-average understanding of HTML, CSS, Git, Scrum, and AWS.
- Project ownership:You will be experienced in collaboratively prioritising and owning cross-team projects, applying critical thinking to solve complex problems.
- Technical leadership:You will have experience providing technical leadership across multiple teams simultaneously.
- Clear communication:You will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Although not essential, it would advantageous if you had experience in the following:
- Achievement of a level 4 qualification in Computer Science or a similar field.
- 1+ year direct management/leadership experience.
