As a Digital Solution Architect you will be responsible for owning solution designs and content. You will be responsible for architectures across a wide variety of Digital product applications. Working closely with assurance and security colleagues, you’ll ensure all architectures and designs are compliant, ensuring we can maintain our trusted relationship with our customers.

We’re looking for a true team player, who will work closely with a combination of in-house and supply-chain software agile DevOps teams. You’ll be required to define architectures and input into designs, ensuring all teams have effective designs and, crucially, that everyone understands the architecture. You’ll also be involved in developing, supporting and encouraging people to develop to their full potential and be at their best (plus enjoy their jobs). You will be passionate about the technology market, and continuously researching and evolving your architectures.

You will be highly aware of business requirements driving platform investment and shaping the platform to meet current and future business needs. Your business knowledge and customer focus will ensure solutions deliver capabilities to customers and not isolated tools.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place. Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality. Any dual nationals will require additional scrutiny and background checks prior to commencing work with RRSL.
