The Role

We’re recruiting for an Associate Infrastructure Engineer – Video Services at Justice Digital, to join our collaborative Video Services team within Technology Services.

This role aligns with the Associate Infrastructure Engineer position from the Government Digital and Data Framework.

Key Responsibilities

1. Help to build and operate user-centric, data-driven modern audio-visual technologies, including Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR), to support the Ministry of Justice's services across the UK.
2. Share knowledge of tools, techniques, and collaboration platforms within the team and broader community.
3. Serve as the technical Video Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing advice and support to other areas of the MOJ's digital estate.
4. Work with end-users to test, monitor, and support MoJ Video endpoints and Meeting Room devices.
5. Deploy and support both legacy and cloud-based Video infrastructure, ensuring reliable integration with MoJ services.
6. Monitor, maintain, and manage Video Services with high standards of reliability, resilience, and scalability.
7. Conduct performance testing to identify and address potential bottlenecks.
8. Implement security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
9. Maintain interoperability with other MoJ key systems and services.
10. Keep accurate documentation and service data for Audio Video Systems.
11. Review and support technical changes, ensuring resilience, usability, and security.
