Architect – Commercial & Hospitality Projects
London | Permanent | £43,000–£53,000 (DOE)
We have exciting opportunities within a well-established, award-winning practice’s Commercial team, working across high-quality commercial developments, mixed-use schemes, and hospitality projects.
This is a hands-on role that offers exposure to both front-end concept design and technical delivery, with the chance to focus on hotel projects at early design stages or technical stages, depending on your strengths. You will work across RIBA Stages 1-3 or RIBA Stages 3–5, collaborating with talented teams to deliver innovative, high-quality architecture for a range of UK-based projects.
What makes you good at your job:
- Architect with 3+ years’ UK post-qualification experience in practice
- Strong commercial architecture portfolio; UK mixed-use & hotel experience highly desirable
- Proven experience across RIBA Stages 3–5
- Revit proficiency is essential
- Solid knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Highly organised with the ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities
If hospitality design-focused:
Front-end: 4+ years’ PQE, strong visual and verbal presentation skills, confident with Revit.
What the role includes:
- Leading and contributing to the design and development of commercial, mixed-use, and hospitality projects
- Producing high-quality technical drawings, 3D models, and presentation material in Revit
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams from concept through to completion
- Engaging directly with clients and stakeholders
- Coordinating consultant information and resolving design and site issues
- Delivering both front-end concept work or detailed technical packages for hotel projects, depending on expertise
