As a Senior Enterprise Architect, you'll lead the way in defining and delivering strategic architecture across our Group Functions. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, domain heads, and engineering teams to create innovative, scalable solutions that improve how we work and deliver value to our customers.
- Lead the transformation of architecture across Bupa's internal functions, aligning business, data, application, and infrastructure layers.
- Define and deliver strategic roadmaps and target architectures in partnership with domain heads.
- Guide and mentor domain architects and engineering leads to deliver high-quality, pattern-led solutions.
- Influence senior leadership and secure investment for strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams across Data, Security, Risk, Privacy, and Legal to improve ways of working and ensure compliance.
- Implement new governance models focused on critical decisions that drive business value.
- Monitor emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on Bupa's architecture.
- Foster a high-performance culture and continuously improve architecture services based on stakeholder feedback.
We're looking for someone confident in leading architectural change and comfortable switching between strategic thinking and technical detail. You'll bring:
- Proven experience in leading enterprise and solution architecture across multiple domains.
- Strong background in IT strategy, application modernisation, and cloud technologies.
- Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and influence decision-making.
- Knowledge of Agile, product management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience in regulated environments, with a solid understanding of security, privacy, and risk.
- Technical qualifications such as a computing degree and TOGAF certification (preferred).
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
- Experience in Finance architecture (Accounting, Actuarial, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting) is a plus but not essential.
