Job Function

To undertake Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Intruder, and Access Maintenance, working within the Security and Fire team whilst operating in compliance with company policy and procedure.

Principle Accountabilities

• Represent the company professionally and develop strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Deliver CCTV, Intruder, Access, and Fire Alarm / Emergency Lighting Maintenance works on site in compliance with SLA and within timescales.
• Liaise with the Service Team to ensure timely delivery of works.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, CBES HSE systems, procedures, and instructions.
• Work on a stand-by rota and attend to corrective calls efficiently.
• Identify and resolve repair, maintenance, and installation issues during service delivery.
• Maintain the company vehicle in a clean, well-maintained, and serviced condition.
• Follow any other reasonable management instructions.

Key Performance Indicators

• Delivery of works per client specifications and within timescales.
• Quality of work, including completion of planned maintenance works.
• Achieve 100% in H & S and job-related competence.
• Maintain the company vehicle.

Required Skills

• Proven experience with Fire Alarms.
• FIA qualifications and understanding of BS5839 are essential.
• Knowledge of detection system integration is advantageous.
• Ability to program cause and effects from a laptop is essential.
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing roles.
• Ability to work independently and organize time effectively.
• Understanding of relevant standards and health and safety regulations.
• Full clean driving license and willingness to travel nationally.
• ECS/CSCS Card.
• Flexible attitude towards working hours and travel, including some overnight stays.
• Self-motivated, professional, positive, and proactive team player.
