IT Solution Architect - Bloomberg AIM and PORT | 100,000 - 120,000 | London

A well-known insurance company is undergoing a major investment transformation and is looking for an experienced Enterprise IT Solution Architect with hands-on expertise in Bloomberg Enterprise, particularly Bloomberg AIM and PORT.

This is a pivotal role in the company's investment technology transformation programme, working closely with front-office, middle-office, and third-party partners to design and deliver high-quality, enterprise-grade solutions.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of Bloomberg Enterprise systems across the investment function
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic business goals
• Define architectural standards and frameworks for internal development and integration
• Work directly with Bloomberg and internal teams to ensure optimal use of AIM, PORT, and Data Licence
• Support the adoption of new technologies and help shape the IT roadmap
• Partner with outsourced providers and internal IT functions to ensure cohesive solution delivery
• Guide development and support teams with best practices and documentation standards

Technical Summary:

• Experience with Bloomberg AIM and PORT
• Demonstrated Bloomberg Enterprise implementation experience within asset management or insurance
• Strong understanding of data architecture and integration with data warehouses (preferably using Microsoft SSMS)
• Knowledge of Bloomberg Data Licence and its practical application
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting frameworks (EMIR, MIFID, SFDR)
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience, including ExCo-level interactions
• Agile methodology experience and a background in scientific, engineering, or computer science disciplines
