Principal Consultant at Saragossa - Creating competitive advantage for investment technology organisations

Are you looking to utilise your engineering experience to solve a variety of complex challenges relating to high volumes of trading data and risk? If so, read on.

You will be joining a multi-strat Hedge Fund with a team of high-calibre engineers focused on utilising modern technologies to gain competitive advantage. Specifically, you will be working directly with the Head of Risk and communication with front office teams to build real-time, business critical systems across risk, P&L and various other areas of the trading platform.

Whilst Java, SQL and AWS are the core technologies of choice here, the team have a 'best tool for the job' mindset and you will be exposed to a large range of technologies. Previous experience with real-time messaging systems using Flink/Kafka would also be utilised here.

You'll likely be coming from a similar environment and have prior experience working with trading systems. Whilst being supported by the wider engineering team, you will also have a lot of autonomy, so a natural problem-solving mindset and ambition to leave your mark will be rewarded.

The salary on this will be up to £100k with a bonus on top.
