Bring your skills as a Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer. You'll play a key role in utilities & external works engineering on transformational programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects both domestically and internationally.

We specialize in all aspects of civil infrastructure engineering and are particularly looking for individuals with broad experience in utilities and external works. You will contribute to multiple challenging sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Water. We deliver industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, adding value with client-side support from concept to construction. Your Purpose:

• Lead a team to undertake technical design work adhering to relevant standards and maintaining high quality.
• Provide practical, multidisciplinary understanding of utilities, external works, and drainage within civil infrastructure, managing stakeholder interfaces and ensuring proper integration.
• Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
• Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines.
• Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Adhere to quality assurance standards in design processes.

What you can bring:

• Strong understanding of gas, power, water, and communication networks, including UK design standards and industry practices.
• Hands-on experience in utilities and external works, including multidisciplinary design delivery and coordination.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex utility scenarios and proactively address risks.
• Stakeholder engagement skills, particularly with statutory utility providers.
• Chartered Engineer status in a relevant discipline.
