Key Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain data marts, dashboards, and reports to monitor key business metrics and identify trends.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, finance and ops teams to define data requirements and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Perform in-depth analysis to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions and optimize business performance.
- Develop and implement A/B tests and other experimental designs to measure the impact of new features and initiatives.
- Mentor junior data analysts and promote data literacy across the organization.
- Champion the adoption of data-driven decision-making and best practices throughout Freetrade.
About you
- Strong SQL proficiency for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
- Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and creating compelling dashboards and reports.
- Proven ability to connect KPIs and analysis to business outcomes, persuading stakeholders and using data to enhance decision-making quality across the company.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency in R, Python or Julia for advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and building repeatable data pipelines.
- Experience with modern data stack tools like dbt for data transformation and data quality.
- Exposure to cloud analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft Azure.
