Traffic Engineer

The position requires skills in feasibility studies, design, CAD drawing, report writing, and supervising projects from inception to completion in compliance with regulations and standards set by TfL and the Council.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and executing assigned projects from feasibility, design, and CAD drawings to project completion
- Preparing detailed reports and documentation
- Raising orders, supervising contractors, and managing payments
- Ensuring compliance with legislative and standards requirements
- Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project delivery
- Maintaining project quality and meeting targets as set by TfL and the Council
- Providing expert advice on Traffic, Parking, Transport, and Highway Services
- Identifying and mitigating project risks
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in traffic engineering and related disciplines
- Experience in design engineering - Traffic, Engineering, and Operations
- Strong background in CAD design and drawing
- Ability to prepare and present comprehensive reports
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Understanding of legislative compliance and standards in road traffic management
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
