Candidate Profile

You should be a quick learner and self-motivated with good communication skills. Requirements include 8 to 10 years of experience, a degree or NVQ Level 6 qualification with relevant experience. Salary ranges from £44,000 to £45,000 depending on experience and qualifications, plus pension, 28 days holiday including public holidays, and sick pay. This role offers a hybrid work model with remote work most of the time and travel on an as-needed basis. Candidates should reside in the UK.

Web Application Development - Roles and Responsibilities

• Web application development, hosting, and support
• UI design and development
• Proficiency with ETL tools and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments
• Write functional specifications
• Install software, test, and troubleshoot issues
• Design integrations with web services like REST, SOAP
• Network configuration and troubleshooting
• Create security standards and policies
• Develop user interfaces and manage user accounts
• Protect software and applications from vulnerabilities
• Manage web applications and security measures
• Secure IT equipment and implement security protocols
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using T-SQL
• Utilize web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs
• Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC methodologies
• Create operational documentation and provide ongoing support
