Head of Resuscitation Services

Reporting to the Associate Director of Education, the Head of Resuscitation will lead the Resuscitation Services team to deliver the Trust’s resuscitation policy in alignment with Resuscitation Council UK guidelines and the Core Skills Training Framework This senior role involves setting performance targets, providing strategic leadership, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks for workforce needs.

The post holder will serve as the primary link between the Resuscitation Team, Clinical Site Practitioners, Hospital at Night team, Clinical Simulation Centre, Heads of Education, and external partners. They will represent GOSH at national and international forums and contribute to advancing thought leadership in the resuscitation field.

In collaboration with Medical Leads for Resuscitation, the post holder will develop and execute a pan-Trust Resuscitation Policy tailored to diverse clinical environments and staff groups. They will also drive the implementation of an operational plan integrating innovative technologies with evidence-based practices to enhance paediatric education and training.

This role demands autonomous leadership with a focus on delivering high-quality resuscitation education and training that supports GOSH’s strategic objectives and fosters workforce excellence.
